Issue involving admins. Empty
PostSubject: Issue involving admins.   Issue involving admins. EmptySat Nov 09, 2013 9:13 pm

Hello there, I've come here to discuss a matter that needs sorting out.

Recently, we've seem to have had an increase in people asking to become admins. Unless the admin applications are open, and at this time there not, the answer will be no. Period. Asking decreases your chances, and many people think of it as O.K. It's not, and the problem is, when one admins says no, they move on to the next admin. This is NOT okay. The admins are continuously being pestered about it. If we would want new admins, we would tell you.

When you sign up to Chatlands, you agree to the rules and abide to follow by them. If you need it, here is a little refresher. Not knowing this is NOT an excuse (Rule 2)

7. Harassing an Administrator

Everyone deserves respect, of course, but these guys pitch in a little more than your average user. They accept the job knowing that they may make mistakes, that they may face constructive criticism, and that they take on these extra responsibilities without pay. You also accept the responsibilities as a member, knowing that the Administration is not perfect. Do not tell an Admin that "they suck", or how bad they are at their job. Do not beg for your poses to be accepted, or yell at an Administrator for banning you or someone you know. Do not constantly ask how to become an Admin or ask to be made an Admin. Do not harass them openly in any way. If you have a problem with how a Beyond Paradise Admin has handled a situation, or with some other aspect of their behaviour, please fill out a Problem Ticket, or get in contact with a Alpha.

That bit in Bold is the main concern. People really do need to read the rules. They may be long and boring, but they will stop people from getting in trouble.

Anyone asking will be immediately told about Rule 7, and any excuses of "I didn't know" will be taken seriously in the future.
